Unio is a workout app built for two people training together. These terms are the agreement between you and Creative Lab 1 for using it. Using Unio means you accept them.

1. Who can use Unio

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Unio asks for body measurements, weight and optionally photographs of yourself, and it is not built for children.

You need your own account. Do not share your sign-in with anyone, including the person you train with. Pairing is the feature for that, and it is designed so each of you keeps control of your own data.

2. What Unio is, and what it is not

Unio generates workout plans, tracks what you did, and shows an agreed part of that to one partner. It is a fitness tracking tool.

It is not medical advice. Unio does not know your medical history, and a generated plan is not a prescription. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing how you train, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or illness, or have a heart, joint or blood pressure condition. Stop if something hurts. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for deciding whether a given exercise, weight or session is safe for you on the day.

3. Your account and your data

You own what you put into Unio. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, show it back to you, and show the parts you have chosen to share with the partner you are paired with. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train anyone else's models.

What a partner can see is your decision and it is granular. Weigh ins, each body measurement, workout counts and body photographs are separate switches, and body photographs are switched off until you deliberately turn them on. Turning a switch off stops future sharing from the moment you change it; it cannot recall something a person has already seen.

The Privacy Policy sets out in full what is stored, who reaches it, how long it lives, and how to delete it. It is part of these terms.

4. Content you send to your partner

Unio lets you send short video clips, photographs and messages to the person you are paired with. You are responsible for what you send. By sending it you confirm you have the right to, and that it does not break the rules below.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not use Unio to send anything that is:

sexual content involving anyone under 18, which we report to the authorities without exception,
harassing, threatening, hateful, or intended to intimidate or humiliate,
an image of another person taken or shared without their agreement,
unlawful, or an infringement of someone else's rights,
an attempt to impersonate someone, or to coerce, pressure or control the person you are paired with.

Every clip can be reported from the screen it plays on, and every account can be blocked from Setup, under Safety. Blocking unpairs you and prevents that person from pairing with you again. We review reports and act on them, usually within 24 hours, and we may remove content, unpair accounts, or suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules. We can do that without notice where somebody's safety is involved.

If you are being harmed by someone through this app, block them and write to us at mo.shareef@creativelab1.com. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Unio is free to use for manual logging, your own full history, and everything shared with a partner. A paid subscription adds the workout generator, week planning, body impact and progress analysis, and accent colours.

The subscription is $7.99 per month, and it covers both people in a pair. One of you pays and both of you get the paid features.
It renews automatically every month until cancelled.
Payment is taken by Apple through your App Store account, not by us. We never see your card.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Cancel any time in the Settings app on your iPhone, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the paid features stay until the period you already paid for runs out.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in Settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us. We cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase.
If your partner is the one paying and they cancel or unpair, the paid features end for the account that was covered by their subscription.

We can change the price. If we do, it takes effect at your next renewal and only after you have been told, and you can cancel before it applies.

6. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, in Setup, under Account. It is a real deletion, not a deactivation, and what happens to your data is set out in the Privacy Policy. You do not need to contact us to do it.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 4, that is being used to harm someone, or that is being used unlawfully.

7. What we do not promise

Unio is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, that a generated plan suits your body on a given day, or that a number it shows is clinically accurate. Weight, measurements and calorie figures are estimates based on what you enter.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Creative Lab 1 is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of Unio, including from following a generated workout. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as that law permits.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are shown in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Unio after that means you accept the new version.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

10. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for Unio. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. If Unio fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Unio. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
